Objective: A competency framework for clinical teaching in physical therapy was established in a recent study. Validation of competency frameworks requires multiple steps, including consideration of end-user perceptions of value and utility. The purpose of this study was to further validate the Clinical Teaching Competency Framework by gathering input specifically from clinical education faculty.

Objective: The objective was to describe the social, environmental, and cultural adaptations to an existing falls program and assess acceptability and preliminary effectiveness of the program in reducing fear, reducing falls, and improving function among individuals poststroke in Guyana.
Methods: A quasi-experimental pilot study with a pretest/posttest in-group design was developed through a collaboration of researchers in Guyana and the US. Participants took part in the falls prevention program for 8 weeks.

Objective: The recent publication of the Physical Therapy Evaluation and Treatment After Concussion Clinical Practice Guideline is intended to assist clinicians in their decision-making specific to evaluation and intervention. Clinical practice guidelines are supported by best available evidence, though it is unknown what other factors drive clinical decision-making in the realm of concussion management. The purpose of this study was to explore factors related to the process of clinical decision-making of experienced physical therapists who treat individuals with concussion.

Objective: The goal of this case report is to describe the process, challenges, and opportunities of implementing rehabilitation for individuals who were critically ill and required both mechanical ventilation (MV) and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support following a coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) infection in an academic medical center.
Methods: This administrative case report is set in a heart and vascular intensive care unit, a 35-bed critical care unit that provides services for patients with various complex cardiovascular surgical interventions, including transplantation. Patients were admitted to the heart and vascular intensive care unit with either COVID-19 acute respiratory distress syndrome or pulmonary fibrosis for consideration of bilateral orthotropic lung transplantation.
