As these processes are naturally developed through meaningful interactions and dialogue, incorporating a dialogic approach into the treatment of psychotic disorders may significantly support recovery.

Background/objectives: Negative symptoms in schizophrenia spectrum disorders are related to impaired social functioning and lower quality of life, making accurate assessment important. To date, most tools for assessing negative symptoms are observational, which can be influenced by the raters' experience and opinion. Self-rating scales, like the Self-Evaluation of Negative Symptoms (SNS), could complement observer ratings by adding information from the patient's perspective.

Vulnerable populations with preexisting mental illness have been disproportionately burdened and may experience adverse mental health outcomes related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our objective was to evaluate the association between COVID-19 diagnosis, known exposure to COVID-19, sheltering in place, symptom severity, psychological distress, and depression severity among adults with severe mental illness (SMI).

Background: In recent years, researchers have reported crucial advances in the understanding of "Dissociative psychosis" and "Dissociative schizophrenia". While clinical studies in this area have been sustained for well, it remains to be established for some aspects that a clear and valid relationship exists between dissociation, childhood traumatic experiences, and schizophrenia or psychotic spectrum disorders.
Methods: To test such hypotheses, we divided the patients into two groups; the first group consisted of patients with psychotic disorders not otherwise specified (PNOS), and the second group consisted of schizophrenic patients.
