Surgery remains the cornerstone of the treatment for endometrial cancer, but brachytherapy plays a major role in the care of patients. In postoperative situations, brachytherapy is frequently indicated to prevent recurrences of the vaginal cuff. In case of medically inoperable patient, it can be, with or without external irradiation, an alternative treatment. In these two situations, techniques are radically different.
