To date, radiologists evaluate neoplasm images manually. Currently there is wide spread attention for developing image processing modules to detect and measure early stage neoplasm growth in liver. We report the fundamentals associated with the development of a multifunctional image processing algorithm useful to measure early growth of neoplasm and the volume of liver. Using CADLN, a radiologist will be able to compare computer generated volumetric data in serial imaging of the patients over time, that eventually will enable assessing progression or regression of neoplasm growth and help in treatment planning.

The optimal method for three-dimensional thermal imaging within cells involves collecting intracellular temperature responses while simultaneously obtaining corresponding 3D positional information. Current temperature measurement techniques based on the photothermal properties of quantum dots face several limitations, including high cytotoxicity and low fluorescence quantum yields. These issues affect the normal metabolic processes of tumor cells.

To improve the expressiveness and realism of illustration images, the experiment innovatively combines the attention mechanism with the cycle consistency adversarial network and proposes an efficient style transfer method for illustration images. The model comprehensively utilizes the image restoration and style transfer capabilities of the attention mechanism and the cycle consistency adversarial network, and introduces an improved attention module, which can adaptively highlight the key visual elements in the illustration, thereby maintaining artistic integrity during the style transfer process. Through a series of quantitative and qualitative experiments, high-quality style transfer is achieved, especially while retaining the original features of the illustration.

The hippocampus possesses anatomical differences along its long axis. Here, we explored the functional specialization of the human hippocampal long axis using network-anchored precision functional MRI in two independent datasets (N = 11 and N = 9) paired with behavioral analysis (N = 266 and N = 238). Functional connectivity analyses demonstrated that the anterior hippocampus was preferentially correlated with a cerebral network associated with remembering, while the posterior hippocampus selectively contained a region correlated with a distinct network associated with behavioral salience.

Unlabelled: Unilateral absence of pulmonary artery (UAPA) is a rare and underdiagnosed entity. Due to its varied clinical expression, especially respiratory and most frequently associated with congenital heart disease, it can also present in isolation and remain asymptomatic for a long time. There is no consensus on its treatment, which is generally reserved for the presence of complications, mainly pulmonary hypertension, hemoptysis, or recurrent respiratory infections.

This study employs a low-field NMR (LF-NMR) method to investigate Cr(VI) adsorption and reduction in solid-liquid systems, focusing on three cellulose-based amine adsorbents. NMR revealed the effects of molecular structure on adsorption and reduction processes, providing insights into adsorbent design and mass transfer advantages for high-performance Cr(VI) adsorbents.
