Polyglandular auto-immune syndromes are rare entity. It is characterised by immune, dysfunction affecting two or more endocrine glands as well as certain non-endocrine organs. Diagnosing such cases could be challenging and misleading too. Early recognition and treatment of such cases can stand between the life and death of a patient. Here a case of Schmidtsyndrome (polyglandular auto-immune syndrome type II) is reported, where timely treatment was life saving.
