Traditional root canal therapy (RCT) effectively removes diseased or necrotic pulp tissue and replaces it with inorganic materials. Regenerative endodontics is an alternative to conventional RCT by using biologically based approaches to restore the pulp-dentin complex. This review explores emerging techniques, including autogenic and allogenic pulp transplantation, platelet-rich fibrin, human amniotic membrane scaffolds, specialized pro-resolving mediators, nanofibrous and bioceramic scaffolds, injectable hydrogels, dentin matrix proteins, and cell-homing strategies.

This raises questions as to the suitability of the CJS to equitably accommodate individuals with complex illness or impairment, who might experience difficulties in cognitive function, frailty, and/or impaired mobility. Findings from the government, the third sector, and academic literature have highlighted the difficulties experienced by older adults in the CJS and those tasked with supporting them.

Metallothionein 1J pseudogene (MT1JP) is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) that functions as a tumor suppressor in various malignancies. Reduced MT1JP expression is associated with increased tumor proliferation, migration, invasion, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), and treatment resistance in nine cancers, such as gastric cancer, intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and breast cancer. Mechanistically, MT1JP acts as a competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) to regulate oncogenic microRNAs (miRNAs), including miR-92a-3p, miR-214-3p, and miR-24-3p.
