Solitary metastasis from prostate adenocarcinoma to thyroid gland is very rare and usually associated with other distal metastasis. This report describes for the first time isolated multiple bilateral thyroid metastasis from prostatic adenocarcinoma. A 67-year-old man who is known as a case of prostatic adenocarcinoma was admitted to a hospital as a case of a multinodular goiter on the basis of clinical and CT scan findings. Total thyroidectomy was performed and histopathology result showed adenomatous goiter containing bilateral metastatic prostatic adenocarcinoma. This is the first report of isolated multiple bilateral thyroid gland metastasis from prostatic adenocarcinoma without other distal metastasis. Such lesions are very rare and can be misdiagnosed, so high index of suspicion for thyroid metastasis should be always maintained in all oncology patients with isolated thyroid mass because early resection and thyroidectomy will change the prognosis for patient.

PSMA-PET/CT has emerged as a superior diagnostic tool for prostate cancer, demonstrating enhanced accuracy over conventional imaging methods. Although sensitive for detecting local and metastatic prostate tumors, it can also identify other non-prostate PSMA positive lesions. Here, we report a rare case of a 67-year-old patient with metastatic prostate adenocarcinoma who was found to have an incidental Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST), during restaging with 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT.

Prostate cancer is a heterogeneous disease with a slow progression and a highly variable clinical outcome. The tumor suppressor genes PTEN and TP53 are frequently mutated in prostate cancer and are predictive of early metastatic dissemination and unfavorable patient outcomes. The progression of solid tumors to metastasis is often associated with increased cell plasticity, but the complex events underlying TP53-loss-induced disease aggressiveness remain incompletely understood.

Activation of the p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathways is vital in regulating cell growth, differentiation, apoptosis, and stress response, significantly affecting tumorigenesis and cancer progression. We developed a bioinformatic technique to construct an interactome network-based molecular pathways for genes of interest and quantify their activation levels using high-throughput gene expression data. This study is focused on the p38α, p38β, p38γ, and p38δ kinases, examining their activation levels (PALs) based on transcriptomic data and their associations with survival and drug responsiveness across various cancer types.

Background: Prostate cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related mortality among men in the United States. Over the past two decades, the observed decline in prostate cancer mortality can be attributed to advancements in screening, early detection, and treatment. However, persistent disparities related to race, geography, and age highlight the need for targeted interventions to improve outcomes.

Introduction: Prostate cancer (PCa) is the commonest urologic cancer worldwide and the leading cause of male cancer deaths in Nigeria. In Nigeria, orchidectomy remains the primary androgen deprivation therapy. Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is the active prostatic androgen, but its relationship with PCa severity has not been extensively studied in Africa.
