Early screening and evaluation of infant motor development are crucial for detecting motor deficits and enabling timely interventions. Traditional clinical assessments are often subjective, without fully capturing infants' "real-world" behavior. This has sparked interest in portable, low-cost technologies to objectively and precisely measure infant motion at home, with a goal of enhancing ecological validity.

As a multivariate time series, the prediction of curling trajectories is crucial for athletes to devise game strategies. However, the wide prediction range and complex data correlations present significant challenges to this task. This paper puts forward an innovative deep learning approach, CasLSTM, by introducing integrated inter-layer memory, and establishes an encoder-predictor curling trajectory forecasting model accordingly.

Multiclass imbalance is a challenging problem in real-world datasets, where certain classes may have a low number of samples because they correspond to rare occurrences. To address the challenge of multiclass imbalance, this paper introduces a novel hybrid cluster-based oversampling and undersampling (HCBOU) technique. By clustering and separating classes into majority and minority categories, this algorithm retains the most information during undersampling while generating efficient data in the minority class.

Antimony (Sb) contamination in water resources poses a critical environmental and health challenge globally. Sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB) are employed to reduce SO to S for removing Sb in a microbial electrolysis cell (MEC). Yet, the reduction efficiency of reducing SO and Sb(Ⅴ) through SRB remains relatively low, and the underlying mechanism remains elusive.

Background: Real-world COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness (VE) studies are investigating exposures of increasing complexity accounting for time since vaccination. These studies require methods that adjust for the confounding that arises when morbidities and demographics are associated with vaccination and the risk of outcome events. Methods based on propensity scores (PS) are well-suited to this when the exposure is dichotomous, but present challenges when the exposure is multinomial.
