Background: Long term studies have shown the Latarjet procedure to be successful in preventing re-dislocation in primary and recurrent anterior inferior shoulder instability. It provides stability through the sling effect of the conjoint tendon and the bone block. It is unclear whether augmentation with capsular repair provides an added benefit or leads to restricted range of external rotation.

Transabdominal preperitoneal patch plasty (TAPP) versus total extraperitoneal patch plasty (TEP) are surgical techniques commonly used to treat inguinal hernia. However, studies indicate that both procedures may lead to significant complications, particularly gastrointestinal complications, some of which can be life-threatening. We statistically analyzed the complications caused by adult inguinal hernia patients admitted from 2018 to 2022.

Of the DRUJ's stability, only around 20% may be attributed to the bony articulation. Treatment for DRUJ injuries resulting from a solely ligamentous rupture varies and is subject to debate.

Objective: Infective endocarditis (IE) is associated with significant morbidity and mortality and places patients at risk for subsequent peripheral vascular emboli. Our goals were to analyze the incidence of peripheral emboli and their associated complications and outcomes.

Purpose: Forceful coughing is assumed to be an uncommon etiology for lateral abdominal wall hernias. The literature regarding this topic is very limited and there is a lack of consensus in management, both operative and non-operative.
