Based on the experimental data correlation of parotids and genital glands in 24 male rabbits 1.5 months after testectomy (full testectomy, unilateral partial resection and bilateral partial resection) was found out. The findings included hyperplasia, parenchyma atrophy, stromal and periductal sclerosis of the parotids. In the majority of cases in adjacent lymphatic notes hyperplasia of B-zones and devastation of T-zones may also be seen, confirming autoimmune reaction after genital glands injury.

Background: The Hezuo (HZ) pig, a famous indigenous breed in China, is characterized by precocious puberty compared with foreign-introduced pig breeds. Sexual maturation is a complex physiological process, and in recent years, circular RNAs (circRNAs), a new class of noncoding RNAs with endogenous regulatory functions, have been shown to play important roles in regulating sexual maturation. However, the dynamic expression and regulatory mechanism of circRNAs during sexual maturation in HZ pigs remain unclear.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the quality parameters and selected biochemical markers of canine semen sampled at 24-h intervals over a period of 5 days, preceded by 6 months of sexual abstinence. Full ejaculates were obtained from 6 dogs. Ejaculate volume and total sperm counts in the ejaculate decreased gradually on successive sampling days.

To compare the efficacy and safety of low-power holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (LP-HoLEP) with plasma kinetic resection of prostate (PKRP). Sixty-three patients treated with transurethral LP-HoLEP (observation group) and 68 patients treated with transurethral PKRP (control group) at Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2019 to November 2022 were retrospectively compared with regard to operation duration, intra-operative blood loss, prostate resection ratio, postoperative bladder irrigation time, postoperative indwelling urinary catheter time, postoperative urinary incontinence incidence, International Prostate Symptom Scale (IPSS), maximum urine flow rate (Qmax), and residual urine volume (RUV). In both groups, postoperative IPSS, Qmax, and RUV were significantly improved compared to preoperative values (P < 0.

Background: Intrauterine adhesion (IUA), resulting from uterine trauma, is one of the major causes of female infertility. Previous studies have demonstrated that endometrial mesenchymal stem cells (eMSC) have therapeutic effects on IUA through cellular secretions. It is particularly true for most of the pre-clinical experiments performed on multiple animal models, as human-derived eMSC cannot maintain long-term engraftment in animals.

Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: The study was conducted on 30 male rats on the model of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Rats were randomized as following: the 1st group (n=6) - intact animals; the 2nd group (n=24) - rats with benign prostatic hyperplasia.
