Backgrounds: Breech presentation, family history, and physical examination are the most recognized risk factors for DDH, which form the basis of selective screening. However, this approach can lead to late diagnosis, invasive treatments, and complications. This study analyzes the effectiveness of selective screening and identifies additional factors related to DDH.

Background: Educational research highlights active approaches to learning are more effective in knowledge retention and problem-solving. It has long been acknowledged that adapting to more active ways of learning form part of the challenge for new university students as the pedagogical distance between the didactical approach largely followed by secondary school systems the world over differs quite significantly from the often more student-led, critical approach taken by universities. University students encounter various learning challenges, particularly during the transition from secondary school to university.

Background: Lipids are known to be involved in carcinogenesis, but the associations between lipid profiles and different lung cancer histological classifications remain unknown.
Methods: Individuals who participated in national adult health surveillance from 2012 to 2018 were included. For patients who developed lung cancer during follow-up, a 1:2 control group of nonlung cancer participants was selected after matching.

Background And Aim: Although the relationship between selenium and metabolic syndrome (MetS) was previously investigated, the findings were inconsistent. Therefore, we performed a systematic review and dose-response meta-analysis to summarize the association between blood selenium and MetS in adults.
Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted in Medline (PubMed), ISI Web of Science, Scopus, and motor engineering of Google Scholar up to October 1st, 2024.
