Lateral migration and equilibrium shape and position of a single red blood cell (RBC) in bounded two-dimensional Poiseuille flows are investigated by using an immersed boundary method. An elastic spring model is applied to simulate the skeleton structure of a RBC membrane. We focus on studying the properties of lateral migration of a single RBC in Poiseuille flows by varying the initial position, the initial angle, the swelling ratio (s), the membrane bending stiffness of RBC (k{b}), the maximum velocity of fluid flow (u{max}), and the degree of confinement. The combined effect of the deformability, the degree of confinement, and the shear gradient of the Poiseuille flow make the RBCs migrate toward a certain cross-sectional equilibrium position, which lies either on the center line of the channel or off center line. For s>0.8, the speed of the migration at the beginning decreases as one increases the swelling ratio s. But for s<0.8, the speed of the migration at the beginning is an increasing function of the swelling ratio s. Two motions of oscillation and vacillating breathing (swing) of RBCs are observed. The distance Y{d} between the cell mass center of the equilibrium position and the center line of the channel increases with increasing the Reynolds number Re and reaches a peak, then decreases with increasing Re. The peak of Re is a decreasing function of the swelling ratio (s<1.0). The cell membrane energy of the equilibrium position is an increasing function as Re increases. The slipper-shaped cell is more stable than the parachute-shaped one in the sense that the energy stored in the former is lower than that in the latter. For a given Re, the bigger the swelling ratio (s<1.0), the lower the cell membrane energy.

In order to solve the problems of serious deformation and difficult support of roadway surrounding rock in the process of gob-side entry driving, taking 230,708 working face of Huopu Mine as the engineering background, the migration characteristics of overburden rock and the stress distribution of surrounding rock before and after roof cutting in the process of gob-side entry driving were studied by means of theoretical analysis, similar simulation test and field measurement. The results show that: ① the establishment of lateral suspension mechanical model analysis found that, with the increase of coal seam dip angle, the reduction of the coal pillar bearing capacity before and after cutting the top gradually decreases, the dip angle of coal seam is 30°, Compared with the reduction of coal pillar bearing capacity before roof cutting is 2164 KN; with the increase of the overburden rock caving angle, the reduction of the coal pillar bearing capacity before and after cutting the top increases continuously, the caving angle of overburden rock is 63°, Compared with the reduction of coal pillar bearing capacity before roof cutting is 2218 KN. ② After the implementation of roof cutting and cutting off the overhanging roof structure, the stress of the surrounding rock of the coal pillar gang in the roadway has significantly decreased by 18.

Since defects in nanomaterials are inevitable during experimental manipulation, investigating the interactions between defective materials and active biological proteins is crucial for evaluating the biocompatibility and biosafety of nanomaterials. This study employs molecular dynamics simulation techniques to investigate the interaction mechanisms between two types of graphene (ideal graphene and defective graphene) and two model proteins (BBA protein and λ-repressor protein). The simulation results indicate that both types of graphene exhibit superior biocompatibility with the λ-repressor protein compared to the BBA protein.
