Tracheal schwannomas are exceedingly rare, accounting for a minute fraction of primary tracheal tumors. They are classified into intraluminal and mixed types, with treatment strategies varying significantly between these subtypes. While thorax tomography is usually sufficient to distinguish intraluminal and mixed type, endobronchial ultrasonography (EBUS) can also be used in cases where the distinction cannot be made clearly with tomography.

Colonoscopy is the gold standard screening test to detect premalignant lesions with endoscopic polypectomy preventing evolution to CRC. Endoscopic polypectomy is effective with a higher safety profile and is less costly as compared to surgery.

While previous studies have established the role of exosomal miR-552-5p in promoting gastric cancer (GC) progression, the exact mechanisms through which it modulates the PD-1/PD-L1 axis to affect NK cell function and subsequently influence GC epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) remain to be elucidated. Western blot, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and nanoparticle tracking analysis were used to characterize exosomes that were isolated from GC cell supernatants. Subcutaneous AGS cell injections expressing either Lv-miR-552-5p or Lv-NC were administered to nude BALB/C mice.

Background And Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate whether preoperative oral prednisolone improves the intraoperative parameters and postoperative outcomes over a 3-month period in patients of sinonasal polyposis who undergo functional endoscopic sinus surgery.
Methods: In a triple-blind, randomized controlled study, 43 patients diagnosed with sinonasal polyposis in the Department of ENT, AIIMS, Jodhpur, were enrolled. After obtaining institutional ethics clearance and registering the clinical trial, randomization was conducted to assign participants into experimental and control groups.
