In 2018, Europe experienced a surge in measles cases, revealing the consequences of suboptimal immunization coverage. This trend was exacerbated by long-standing vaccine hesitancy. Parental attitudes toward childhood vaccines have increasingly shifted, influenced by ethical, religious, and safety concerns.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between spiritual well-being and hopelessness levels in individuals who have experienced myocardial infarction. The study, which was descriptive and exploratory, was conducted on patients who had experienced myocardial infarction and undergone angiography in the coronary intensive care unit and cardiology ward of Ağrı Education and Research Hospital. The population of the study consisted of 151 patients who had experienced myocardial infarction and undergone angiography between December 2022 and February 2023.

Background: Low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) bear a disproportionate burden of mental illness, with limited access to biomedical care. This study examined pathways to care for psychosis in rural Uganda, exploring factors influencing treatment choices.
Methods: We conducted a mixed-methods study in Buyende District, Uganda, involving 67 in-depth interviews and 4 focus group discussions (data collection continued until thematic saturation was reached) with individuals with psychotic disorders, family members, and local leaders.

Background: Women experience more poststroke physical activity limitations, but sex differences in social activity participation, an important patient-reported outcome for stroke recovery, remain uncertain.
Methods: Incident stroke survivors aged ≥65 years were identified from the US NHATS (National Health and Aging Trends Study), 2011-2022. Participants were asked to report restricted participation in the past month in 2 formal activities (religious services and clubs/classes) and 2 informal activities (visiting friends/family and going out for enjoyment) in the year of stroke onset.
