In the title mol-ecule, C(19)H(17)N(3)O(6), the indole ring system is essentially planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.009 Å) and forms a dihedral angle of 31.96 (9)° with the nitro-substituted benzene ring. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by pairs of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers which are connected by further N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds into a two-dimensional network parallel to (102).

Background: Preeclampsia (PE) is characterized as de novo hypertension (HTN) with end-organ damage, especially in the brain. PE is hypothesized to be caused by placental ischemia. PE affects ~5-8% of USA pregnancies and increases the risk for HTN and cerebrovascular diseases (CVD) later in life.

Background: Diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) are severe complications of diabetes, posing significant health and societal challenges. Accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and elevated glucose levels are primary factors affecting diabetic wound healing. Achieving effective treatment by reducing ROS alone is challenging, as high glucose levels continuously drive ROS production.

Methanogenic archaea (methanogens) possess fascinating metabolic characteristics, such as the ability to fix molecular nitrogen (N). Methanogens are of biotechnological importance due to the ability to produce methane (CH) from molecular hydrogen (H) and carbon dioxide (CO) and to excrete proteinogenic amino acids. This study focuses on analyzing the link between biological methanogenesis and amino acid excretion under N-fixing conditions.

Microgrid systems have evolved based on renewable energies including wind, solar, and hydrogen to make the satisfaction of loads far from the main grid more flexible and controllable using both island- and grid-connected modes. Albeit microgrids can gain beneficial results in cost and energy schedules once operating in grid-connected mode, such systems are vulnerable to malicious attacks from the viewpoint of cybersecurity. With this in mind, this paper explores a novel advanced attack model named the false transferred data injection (FTDI) attack aiming to manipulatively alter the power flowing from the microgrid to the upstream grid to raise voltage usability probability.

Designing asymmetrical structures is an effective strategy to optimize metallic catalysts for electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction reactions. Herein, we demonstrate a transient pulsed discharge method for instantaneously constructing graphene-aerogel supports asymmetric copper nanocluster catalysts. This process induces the convergence of copper atoms decomposed by copper chloride onto graphene originating from the intense current pulse and high temperature.
