Quantum theory promises computational speed-ups over classical approaches. The celebrated Gottesman-Knill Theorem implies that the full power of quantum computation resides in the specific resource of "magic" states-the secret sauce to establish universal quantum computation. However, it is still questionable whether magic indeed brings the believed quantum advantage, ridding unproven complexity assumptions or black-box oracles.

The bottleneck on therapeutics and diagnostics is removed by an alternate approach known as theranostics which combines both therapeutics and diagnostics within a single platform. Due to this "all in one" nature of theranostics, it is now extensively applied in the medicinal field mainly in cancer treatment over the conventional therapy. Recently, FDA approval of lutetium 177 (177Lu) DOTATATE and 177Lu-PSMA-based radionuclide theranostics are clinically used and very few theranostics specific to breast cancer are in clinical trials.

Long persistent luminescence (PersL) materials have revolutionized many fields of optoelectronics and photonics due to their applications in anticounterfeiting, information encryption, and in vivo bioimaging. Here, we reported a novel PersL crystal prepared by the heterovalent doping of Sb into perovskite tetragonal phase RbCdCl, comparing with the pristine non-perovskite orthorhombic phase analogue without PersL property. The dynamics of quantum information in many-body systems with large onsite Hilbert space dimension admits an enlightening description in terms of effective statistical mechanics models. Motivated by this fact, we reveal a connection between three separate models: the classically chaotic d-adic Rényi map with stochastic control, a quantum analog of this map for qudits, and a Potts model on a random graph. The classical model and its quantum analog share a transition between chaotic and controlled phases, driven by a randomly applied control map that attempts to order the system.

We demonstrate complete control over dynamics of a single superconducting vortex in a nanostructure, which we coin the Single Vortex Box. Our device allows us to trap the vortex in a field-cooled aluminum nanosquare and expel it on demand with a nanosecond pulse of electrical current. Using the time-resolving nanothermometry we measure [Formula: see text] joules as the amount of the dissipated heat in the elementary process of the single-vortex expulsion.
