ABSTRACT. Image enhancement of retinal structures, in optical coherence tomography (OCT) scans through denoising, has the potential to aid in the diagnosis of several eye diseases. In this paper, a locally adaptive denoising algorithm using double-density dual-tree complex wavelet transform, a combination of the double-density wavelet transform and the dual-tree complex wavelet transform, is applied to reduce speckle noise in OCT images of the retina. The algorithm overcomes the limitations of commonly used multiple frame averaging technique, namely the limited number of frames that can be recorded due to eye movements, by providing a comparable image quality in significantly less acquisition time equal to an order of magnitude less time compared to the averaging method. In addition, improvements of image quality metrics and 5 dB increase in the signal-to-noise ratio are attained.

Acoustic emission information can describe the damage degree of rock samples in the process of failure. However, as a discrete non-stationary signal, acoustic emission information is difficult to be effectively processed by conventional methods, while wavelet analysis is an effective method for non-stationary signal processing. Therefore, acoustic emission signal is deeply studied by using wavelet analysis method.

Addressing the issues of a single-feature input channel structure, scarcity of training fault data, and insufficient feature learning capabilities in noisy environments for intelligent diagnostic models of mechanical equipment, we propose a method based on a one-dimensional and two-dimensional dual-channel feature information fusion convolutional neural network (1D_2DIFCNN). By constructing a one-dimensional and two-dimensiona dual-channel feature information fusion convolutional network and introducing a Convolutional Block Attention Mechanism, we utilize Random Overlapping Sampling Technique to process raw vibration signals. The model takes as inputs both one-dimensional data and two-dimensional Continuous Wavelet Transform images.

Objective: This study aimed to develop and evaluate a novel software tool for robust analysis of the Visually Enhanced Vestibular-Ocular Reflex (VVOR) and video head impulse test (vHIT) saccades.
Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on 94 patients with Meniere's Disease (MD), unilateral vestibular hypofunction (UVH), and vestibular migraine (VM). The MATLAB-based VVOR Analysis System and Saccades All in One software were utilized for data processing.
