Uremia associated with anticoagulant therapy is a high risk factor for bleeding complications in patients undergoing hemodialysis. We report a case of intrarenal hematoma arising in a uremic patient treated with warfarin. The hematoma was rapidly diagnosed by ultrasonography of the abdomen and treated with embolization. Our experience confirms that the availability of an ultrasound facility within the renal unit allows better assessment of our patients, also in the management of the most fearsome and rare complications. Moreover, it strengthens the evidence that uremic patients are at high risk of bleeding complications when treated with oral anticoagulants.

Intrarenal hemangiomas lack concise clinicopathologic information, due to the predominance of single case reports and inclusion of other vascular neoplasms and hemangiomas of perirenal, hilar, and renal vein origin. Herein, in this multi-institutional study we evaluate clinicopathologic features of 39 intrarenal hemangiomas. The median age was 62 years (range = 27-94 years; 2:1 male to female ratio), with left-sided predominance (left = 21, right = 13; one case was bilateral).

In renal vasculitis, luminal narrowing can reduce blood flow and activate the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, causing renovascular hypertension. We present the case of a 47-year-old man with previous intestinal tuberculosis and episodes of lumbar pain, tender erythematous nodules and arthralgias. He had grade 3 hypertension, unresponsive to treatment, with left ventricular concentric hypertrophy and chronic kidney disease.

Introduction: Neuroblastoma is the most common extracranial solid tumor found in childhood.
Case Representation: Primary renal neuroblastoma has been reported in the literature as case reports. Almost all cases had a preliminary diagnosis of Wilms tumor and were diagnosed as neuroblastoma after nephrectomy.
Introduction: The management of urinary tract stones, particularly kidney allograft stones, presents unique challenges for kidney transplant recipients because of their prevalence and specific clinical considerations. Here, we describe a case in which percutaneous nephrolithotomy was successfully used to fragment a large kidney allograft stone ≥20 mm in size.
Case Presentation: A 57-year-old woman who underwent ureteroureterostomy post simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplantation presented with gross hematuria after 15 years.
