Here we report a highly porous, water stable Co based ZIF [CoNIm (RHO)] and its solution mediated phase transformation to a less porous and water unstable ZIF [CoNIm (SOD)]. CoNIm (RHO) has high Langmuir surface area [2087 m(2) g(-1)] as well as high water adsorption [200 cm(3) (STP) g(-1)] capacity.

Monolayers of transition-metal dichalcogenides, such as MoS, have attracted significant attention for their exceptional electronic and optical properties, positioning them as ideal candidates for advanced optoelectronic applications. Despite their strong excitonic effects, the atomic-scale thickness of these materials limits their light absorption efficiency, necessitating innovative strategies to enhance light-matter interactions. Plasmonic nanostructures offer a promising solution to overcome those challenges by amplifying the electromagnetic field and also introducing other mechanisms, such as hot electron injection.

Adoptive cell therapies (ACT) have shown reduced efficacy against solid tumor malignancies compared to hematologic malignancies, partly due to the immunosuppressive nature of the tumor microenvironment (TME). ACT efficacy may be enhanced with pleiotropic cytokines that remodel the TME; however, their expression needs to be tightly controlled to avoid systemic toxicities. Odor-induced saltiness enhancement (OISE) is thought to be a unique salt reduction technique which capitalizes on olfactory-gustatory interaction. Volatile compounds of stewed duck obtained from orthonasal (no-treatment) and retronasal (saliva-treatment) pathways and their capacity on OISE were analyzed by GC-O-MS and molecular simulation in order to ascertain the role of odors in duck stewed with chili pepper on saltiness enhancement. Totally 17 unique volatile compounds were identified in retronasal pathways.
