Purpose: One of the main pathophysiological mechanisms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is inflammation, which has been associated with lymphadenopathy. Intrapulmonary lymph nodes can be identified on CT as perifissural nodules (PFN). We investigated the association between the number and size of PFNs and measures of COPD severity.

A 61-year-old female on hemodialysis with chronic renal failure presented with hemoptysis 10 years after replacement of the distal arch and the descending aorta. Computed tomography showed hematoma around the prosthetic graft and intrapulmonary hemorrhage adjacent to the graft. At emergency open surgery, perforation was revealed in the distal portion of the graft.

Objectives: To assess the capability of digital tomosynthesis (DTS) of the chest compared to a postero-anterior (PA) and lateral chest radiograph (CXR) in the diagnosis of suspected but unconfirmed pulmonary nodules and hilar lesions detected on a CXR. Computed tomography (CT) was used as the reference standard.
Materials And Method: 78 patients with suspected non-calcified pulmonary nodules or hilar lesions on their CXR were included in the study.

Osteosarcoma is a common primary malignant tumour of bones that produces an osteoid matrix. Parosteal osteosarcoma is an uncommon neoplasm and principally affects the long bones, especially in the distal femur, proximal tibia and proximal humerus. Rarely, the tumour may arise in a flat bone, and rib involvement is very infrequent.
