Aerosol filters composed of electrostatically charged bipolar fibers are referred to as electret filters. A novel computational model is developed in this work to study the impact of droplet deposition on aerosol capture efficiency of electret fibers. The electret fibers were assumed to have a dipole orientation that was either parallel or perpendicular to the airflow direction.

- The RC group scored lower in EI than the NRC group, particularly in understanding and managing emotions, suggesting that managing emotions might be a key factor for differentiating between these two patient groups.

Thermotropic nematic liquid crystals (LC) have been utilized to sense/detect various analytes such as polymers, surfactants, lipids, etc. However, their use for protein detection depends on pre-adsorbed molecules, co-nematogens, or biomolecular agents for specificity. This approach impedes the platform's sensitivity with a detection limit for the folded proteins generally reported in the micromolar concentration range.
