The article deals with the results of study of 35 patients with Q-fever and 30 donors to determine the content of rosette-forming neutrophils, lysozyme activity of blood and saliva. On the second week of disease it was revealed the activation of compensative immune mechanisms and on third and fourth week inhibition of these mechanisms.

Introduction: The association between primary brain tumors, such as glioneuronal tumors, with autosomal-dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) remains poorly understood, with only two cases reported excluding this one. This case of an ADPKD patient diagnosed with a rosette-forming glioneuronal tumor highlights an exceptionally rare potential association warranting further investigation.
Case Presentation: A 28-year-old male with ADPKD presented with progressive ataxia, dizziness, and headache.

Globally intensified lake eutrophication, attributed to excessive anthropogenic nitrogen loading, emerges as a significant driver of submerged vegetation degradation. Consequently, the impact of nitrogen on the decline of submerged macrophytes has received increasing attention. However, a functional trait-based approach to exploring the response of submerged macrophytes to nitrogen loading and its environmental feedback mechanism was unclear.

The phylum is constituted by bacteria with unique features that are well adapted to a vast range of habitats. Here, we describe a novel planctomycete isolated from marine sediments collected on a beach in Matosinhos (Portugal) using an iChip-based culturing technique. Strain ICM_H10 forms beige-coloured colonies in modified M14 medium and its cells are spherical to ovoid in shape, stalked, rosette-forming and showing motility in a phase of the life cycle.

A Gram-stain-negative, aerobic, pear to oval shaped, rosette forming bacterium with crateriform structures well distributed on the cell surface designated as strain JC647 was isolated from a sponge specimen belonging to the genus Spongia. Strain JC647 reproduces through budding. Strain JC647 shared highest 16S rRNA gene sequence identity of 99.

A Gram-stain-negative, aerobic, non-motile, salt- and alkali-tolerant, pear to oval shaped, rosette-forming, white coloured, bacterium, designated as strain JC646, was isolated from a sediment sample collected from Chilika lagoon, India. Strain JC646 reproduced through budding, grew well at up to pH 9.0 and tolerated up to 7 % NaCl.
