The elementary mechanism and site studies of nanozyme-based inhibition reactions are ambiguous and urgently require advanced nanozymes as mediators to elucidate the inhibition effect. To this end, we develop a class of nanozymes featuring single Cu-N catalytic configurations and B-O sites as binding configurations on a porous nitrogen-doped carbon substrate (B/Cu) for inducing modulable inhibition transfer at the atomic level. The full redistribution of electrons across the Cu-N sites, induced by B-O sites incorporation, yields B/Cu with enhanced peroxidase-like activity versus Cu.

Effects of Doping on Elastic Strain in Crystalline Ge-Sb-Te.

Phase-change random access memory (PcRAM) faces significant challenges due to the inherent instability of amorphous GeSbTe (GST). While doping has emerged as an effective method for amorphous stabilization, understanding the precise mechanisms of structural modification and their impact on material stability remains a critical challenge. This study provides a comprehensive investigation of elastic strain and stress in crystalline lattices induced by various dopants (C, N, and Al) through systematic measurements of film thickness changes during crystallization.

In this study, nitrogen-doped carbon nanodots (N-CDs) with temperature and fluorescence sensing were prepared via hydrothermal method using L-lysine and ethylenediamine as precursors. The synthesized N-CDs exhibited spherical morphology with sizes ranging from 2.8 to 5.

Carbon quantum dots (CQDs) are a recently developed class of fluorescent nanoparticles made from carbon. Co-doping with heteroatoms such as nitrogen and sulfur improved the properties and generated a high quantum yield. In the proposed study, we utilized a simple, cost-effective, single-stage hydrothermal approach to produce extreme photoluminescence co-doped, nitrogen and sulfur, CQDs (N,S-CODs).

Organized sports are governed by specific rules which aim to create or preserve fair play. An unfair advantage can be obtained by the use of specific substances or methods, also referred to as doping. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) leads the international doping-free sport movement and annually publishes the List of Prohibited Substances and Methods (List), that is used by most sport federations and organizations around the world.
