Heterotopic pregnancy is defined as the concurrent presence of both an intrauterine pregnancy and an extrauterine (typically ectopic) pregnancy. This report presents the case of a 36-year-old female patient who presented to the emergency department with lower abdominal pain. A comprehensive evaluation, including transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound imaging, revealed a heterotopic pregnancy at an estimated gestational age of six weeks and two days.

Background: Body mass index (BMI) consistently correlates with the triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index, a marker of insulin resistance, which in turn is linked to heightened cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk. Submerged or partially floating seagrasses in marine or brackish waters form productive seagrass beds, feeding grounds for a rich and varied associated biota, play key ecological roles in mitigating climate change and provide ecosystem services for humanity. Background: Many districts in rural areas of Korea are facing population decline due to the aging population phenomenon. This study examined the associations of rural residency with the likelihood of receiving hypertension management education and nonpharmacological and pharmacological treatment.
Methods: Data from the 2022 Korea Community Health Survey were used to identify individuals aged 19 years or above diagnosed with hypertension.
