Functional corticomuscular coupling (FCMC), a phenomenon describing the information interaction between the cortex and muscles, plays an important role in assessing hand movements. However, related studies mainly focused on specific actions by one-to-one mapping between the brain and muscles, ignoring the global synchronization across the motor system. Little research has been done on the FCMC difference between the brain and different muscle groups in terms of precise grip tasks.

Accurately measuring the embodied carbon emissions (ECE) in global value chains (GVCs) and identifying their key drivers is vital for formulating targeted mitigation policies in the context of GVCs. However, few studies have considered the effects of foreign direct investment (FDI)-related GVCs. To fill this gap, this study utilizes an inter-country input-output model and a decomposition framework for carbon emissions to measure the ECE in GVCs related to China during 2000-2018.

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and environmental degradation are some of the most controversial debates, especially in the context of global warming and climate change. This study aims to shed light on the impact of FDI on environmental degradation in the countries with the highest carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, taking into account 513 country-years between the years 1996 and 2022. CO2 and the ecological footprint were used as indicators of environmental degradation.
