We analyze an idealized model for the transmission or flow of particles, or discrete packets of information, in a weight bearing branching hierarchical two dimensional network and its variants. The capacities add hierarchically down the clusters. Each node can accommodate a limited number of packets, depending on its capacity, and the packets hop from node to node, following the links between the nodes. The statistical properties of this system are given by the Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution. We obtain analytical expressions for the mean occupation numbers as functions of capacity, for different network topologies. The analytical results are shown to be in agreement with the numerical simulations. The traffic flow in these models can be represented by the site percolation problem. It is seen that the percolation transitions in the 2D model and in its variant lattices are continuous transitions, whereas the transition is found to be explosive (discontinuous) for the V lattice, the critical case of the 2D lattice. The scaling behavior of the second-order percolation case is studied in detail. We discuss the implications of our analysis.

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are imperative to a huge range of packages, along with environmental monitoring, healthcare structures, army surveillance, and smart infrastructure, however they're faced with numerous demanding situations that impede their functionality, including confined strength sources, routing inefficiencies, security vulnerabilities, excessive latency, and the important requirement to keep Quality of Service (QoS). Conventional strategies generally goal particular troubles, like strength optimization or improving QoS, frequently failing to provide a holistic answer that effectively balances more than one crucial elements concurrently. To deal with those challenges, we advocate a novel routing framework that is both steady and power-efficient, leveraging an Improved Type-2 Fuzzy Logic System (IT2FLS) optimized by means of the Reptile Search Algorithm (RSA).

This paper addresses the event-based sliding mode control problem for singularly perturbed systems with switching parameters. Unlike traditional Markovian switching systems, singularly perturbed S-MSSs allow more flexible state transitions, which can be described by a general distribution rather than the exponential distribution assumed in Markovian switching systems. To enhance the performance of such systems, a novel memory-based dynamic event-triggered protocol (DETP) is proposed, incorporating a memory term for the auxiliary offset variable.

In-band full-duplex communication has the potential to double the wireless channel capacity. However, how to efficiently transform the full-duplex gain at the physical layer into network throughput improvement is still a challenge, especially in dynamic communication environments. This paper presents a reinforcement learning-based full-duplex (RLFD) medium access control (MAC) protocol for wireless local-area networks (WLANs) with full-duplex access points.
