Background: Youth with disabilities often experience disability-related discrimination (ableism). Those with multiple minoritised identities, such as along the axes of disability and gender, arguably encounter more complex forms of discrimination; however, little is known about their experiences. Exploring the experiences of sex/gender minoritised youth with disabilities is important because they often face many challenges within education, health and social services, including discrimination, which could perpetuate inequalities.

We recommend establishing a framework for assessment of interventions for children with mental disabilities, using a human-rights-based approach that can be applied across jurisdictions, alongside national laws.

We aimed to evaluate the impact of short-term tinnitus treatment on cognitive function and identify the effects of various treatment combinations on cognitive and tinnitus outcomes. A non-randomized prospective study was conducted with 32 tinnitus patients at a tertiary university hospital between May 2022 and May 2024. Patients received treatments, including neuromodulation, diuretics, gabapentin, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI), anxiolytics, muscle relaxants, hearing aids, and counseling.

Purpose: This study investigates the impact of two distinct visualization methods for electrocochleographic potentials during cochlear implant electrode insertion on residual hearing preservation and vestibular function. Previous research has demonstrated the benefits of visualizing electrocochleographic (ECochG) potentials in preserving residual hearing during cochlear implantation. In this project, ECochG potentials are represented either through a graph or as arrows that provide a pre-interpreted version of the graph.

Objective: This study aimed to utilize data from the China family panel studies (CFPS) to systematically analyze the physical and mental health characteristics and needs of older adult individuals with disabilities under the context of smart healthcare, aiming to provide scientific evidence for relevant policy formulation.
Methods: Data were derived from the CFPS surveys conducted by Peking University's China Social Sciences between 2021 and 2022. Older adult individuals aged 65 and above requiring assistance in activities of daily living (ADL) or instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) were included.
