T-cell response plays an important role in SARS-CoV-2 immunogenicity. For people living with HIV (PWH) and solid organ transplant (SOT) recipients there is limited evidence on the reliability of commercially available T-cell tests. We assessed 173 blood samples from 81 participants (62 samples from 35 PWH; 111 samples from 46 SOT recipients [lung and kidney]) with two commercial SARS-CoV-2 Interferon-γ (IFN-γ) release assays (IGRA; SARS-CoV-2 IGRA by Euroimmun, and IGRA SARS-CoV-2 by Roche).

Distributed lag models (DLMs) estimate the health effects of exposure over multiple time lags prior to the outcome and are widely used in time series studies. Applying DLMs to retrospective cohort studies is challenging due to inconsistent lengths of exposure history across participants, which is common when using electronic health record databases. A standard approach is to define subcohorts of individuals with some minimum exposure history, but this limits power and may amplify selection bias.

The characterization of how precisely we perceive visual speed has traditionally relied on psychophysical judgments in discrimination tasks. Such tasks are often considered laborious and susceptible to biases, particularly without the involvement of highly trained participants. Additionally, thresholds for motion-in-depth perception are frequently reported as higher compared to lateral motion, a discrepancy that contrasts with everyday visuomotor tasks.

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) were responsible for approximately 19 million deaths in 2020, marking an increase of 18.7% since 2010. Biological decellularized patches are common therapeutic solutions for CVD such as cardiac and valve defects.
