Microneedles (MNs) are emerging as versatile tools for both therapeutic drug delivery and diagnostic monitoring. Unlike hypodermic needles, MNs achieve these applications with minimal or no pain and customizable designs, making them suitable for personalized medicine. Understanding the key design parameters and the challenges during contact with biofluids is crucial to optimizing their use across applications.

Meckel's diverticulum, a congenital anomaly of the omphalomesenteric duct, is a rare cause of acute abdomen and poses significant diagnostic challenges due to its variable presentation and complications such as perforation. We present the case of a 19-year-old male with a 24-hour history of right iliac fossa pain progressing to generalized abdominal tenderness. Aims: The aim of this study was to report long-term clinical outcomes of a modern convertible metal-backed glenoid (MBG) in total shoulder arthroplasty (TSA).
Methods: After a minimum of 15 years, a previously studied cohort of 35 patients who received a modern convertible MBG during the period 1996 to 2005 was contacted for clinical and radiological follow-up. At last follow-up, patients were evaluated radiologically and clinically according to the Constant Score, Simple Shoulder Test, and visual analogue scale for pain.

Purpose: This study aimed to analyse the clinical outcomes and survival of patellofemoral arthroplasty (PFA) in treating isolated patellofemoral osteoarthritis (IPFOA) at our centre. The secondary objective was to compare these results with a historical cohort treated with partial lateral facetectomy plus Insall realignment (PLFIR). We hypothesised that clinical outcomes and survival with PFA are superior to PLFIR and comparable to the literature.
