Objective: To investigate the value of Compound Xuanju Capsule in the treatment of type-III prostatitis-related sexual dysfunction.
Methods: We randomly divided 90 type-III prostatitis patients with sexual dysfunction diagnosed by NIH clinical criteria into an experiment group and a control group to be treated with Compound Xuanju Capsule and antibiotics, respectively. We analyzed the therapeutic results based on the scores on chronic prostatitis symptom index (CPSI), prostatitis-related sexual function index (PSFI ) and self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), and compared them between the two groups and with the baseline data.
Results: The degree of prostatitis-related sexual dysfunction was not correlated with that of prostatitis symptoms. Prostatitis symptoms and sexual function were significantly improved in the experiment group than in the control (P < 0.05), and the SAS score was markedly lower in the former than in the latter (P < 0.05).
Conclusion: Compound Xuanju Capsule can not only alleviate the symptoms of type-III prostatitis, but also improve its related sexual dysfunction and anxiety.

Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic effects of Xuanju compound capsule combined with urofollitropin (uFSH) in the treatment of idiopathic oligoasthenozoospermia.
Methods: From June 2022 to June 2023, patients with idiopathic oligoastheospermia were enrolled in this study, and divided into trail group (Xuanju compound capsule combined with urofollitropin tablets, n=53) and control group (urofollitropin tablets, n=61) according to the difference in treatment. Treatment methods: Xuanju compound capsule, 3 pills, three times a day; Urofollitropin, 75IU, one times three day.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of black tomato concentrate (BTC), which is rich in polyphenols, in the treatment of ED.
Methods: We conducted a prospective randomized open clinical study of 150 ED patients from December 2018 to February 2020, and treated the them with placebo (n = 50), BTC (n = 50) and Compound Xuanju Capsules (CXC) (n = 50), respectively, all for 8 weeks. Before and at 4 and 8 weeks after treatment, we obtained the scores of the patients on IIEF-5, Erection Hardness Score (EHS), Sexual Encounter Profile (SEP-2,3) and General Assessment Questionnaire (GAQ-1,2), related biochemical indexes and the T level, followed by comparison among the three groups.
