Objective: To study the chemical constituents of the n-BuOH fraction of 95% ethanolic extract of leaves of Neoalsomitra integrifoliola.
Method: The compounds were isolated with kinds of column chromatography. The structures were determined by MS and NMR spectroscopic techniques.
Result: Eight compounds were isolated from the n-BuOH fraction of 95% ethanolic extract and their structures were identified as 2-phenylethyl rutinoside (1), rutin (2), kaempferol-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranoside (3), isorhamnetin-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranoside (4), methyl chlorogenate (5), guanosine (6), adenosine (7), myo-inositol (8), respectively.
Conclusion: All compounds were isolated from this genus for the first time.

Pleurotus ostreatus is a nutrient-dense edible fungus renowned for its delicate texture, appealing flavor, and numerous potential health benefits. Simultaneous extraction within the framework of food resource processing facilitates the concurrent isolation and analysis of multiple target compounds. In this study, an ethanol/salt aqueous two-phase system (ATPS) was employed to extract polysaccharides (PS) and proteins from P.

The antifungal drugs of the echinocandin family show high efficacy against Aspergillus fumigatus. However, their paradoxical effect, which restores fungal growth at high drug concentrations, and the emergence of resistant strains necessitate improvements. We identified 13 fluoroquinolone compounds from a chemical library containing 10,000 compounds that potentiate the antifungal activity of caspofungin.

Background: In the realm of plant diseases, those caused by fungi and oomycetes are particularly challenging to manage, resulting in significant economic losses. There exist diverse active substances in natural products and developing them into fungicides holds great significance. At the initial phase of our research, we discovered that Syringa pinnatifolia extract demonstrates broad-spectrum inhibitory activity against phytopathogenic fungi.

Organic micropollutants, including pharmaceuticals, personal care products, pesticides, and food additives, are widespread in the environment, causing potentially toxic effects. Human waste is a direct source of micropollutants, with the majority of pharmaceuticals being excreted through urine. Urine contains its own microbiota with the potential to catalyze micropollutant biotransformations.
