The Building Math Readiness in Young Deaf/Hard-of- Hearing Children: Parents as Partners (MRPP) Project works with parents to increase the understanding of foundational mathematics concepts in their preschool deaf/hard-of-hearing (d/hh) children in preparation for formal mathematics education. A multiple-case/single-unit case study incorporating descriptive statistics and grounded theory analysis was conducted on the hybrid version of the intervention. Results showed productive changes in parental behaviors indicating a possible positive effect on parent knowledge, recognition, and mediation of early matthematics concepts with their young d/hh children.

This work considers a stochastic form of an extended version of the Kairat-II equation by adding Browning motion into the deterministic equation. Two analytical approaches are utilized to derive analytical solutions of the modified equation. The first method is the modified Tanh technique linked with the Riccati equation, which is implemented to extract some closed-form solutions in the form of tangent and cotangent functions.

Background: Next-generation sequencing (NGS) for Hepatitis B virus (HBV) antiviral resistance (AVR) testing is a highly sensitive diagnostic method, able to detect low-level mutant subpopulations. Our clinical virology laboratory previously transitioned from DNA hybridization (INNO-LiPA) to NGS, initially with the GS Junior System and subsequently the MiSeq. The Oxford Nanopore Technology (ONT) sequencing system was evaluated for HBV resistance testing, with regards to sequencing accuracy and turn-around time.

We present the theory and implementation of a fully variational wave function-density functional theory (DFT) hybrid model, which is applicable to many cases of strong correlation. We denote this model as the multiconfigurational self-consistent on-top pair-density functional theory (MC-srPDFT) model. We have previously shown how the multiconfigurational short-range DFT (MC-srDFT) hybrid model can describe many multiconfigurational cases of any spin symmetry and also state-specific calculations on excited states [Hedegård et al.

Background: The demand for health management services has grown among individuals with physical disabilities. It is noteworthy that a significant proportion of this demographic has sought the services of traditional Korean medicine (TKM). Nevertheless, there is a lack of research on the characteristics of TKM utilization within this population.
