Parasitoids employ diverse oviposition strategies to enhance offspring survival and maximise fitness gains from hosts. Ladybird parasitoids, significant natural enemies of ladybirds, have the potential to disrupt biocontrol efforts, yet their biology and ecology remain poorly understood. This study investigated the host-parasitoid interaction among three sympatric larval endoparasitoids of (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae): (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae), (Hymenoptera: Proctotrupidae) and (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae).

Global warming has driven changes in the biology and fitness of organisms that need to adapt to temperatures outside of their optimal range to survive. This study investigated aspects of reproduction and survival of the lady beetle (Mulsant) (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) subjected to temperatures that varied from its optimal (28°C) to a gradual decrease (12, 14, 16, and 18°C) and increase (32, 34, 35, and 36°C) over time at a rate of 1°C/day. Fertility, fecundity, oviposition period, and survival were determined.

"A Who's Who of pesticides is therefore of concern to us all. If we are going to live so intimately with these chemicals eating and drinking them, taking them into the very marrow of our bones - we had better know something about their nature and their power."-Rachel Carson, Silent Spring.

The increasingly complex electromagnetic environment of modern warfare and the proliferation of intelligent jamming threaten to reduce the survival rate of radio fuzes on the battlefield. Radio frequency (RF) stealth technology can fundamentally improve the anti-interception and reconnaissance capabilities of radio fuzes, thereby lessening the probability of them being intercepted, recognized, and jammed by the enemy. In this paper, an RF stealth waveform based on chaotic pulse-position modulation is proposed for ultra-wideband (UWB) radio fuzes.

Understanding the most effective host switch patterns in parasitic wasps, specifically (AB), is crucial for effectively controlling pests like (PSS). This study aims to elucidate AB's ideal host switch pattern and assess its utility in maintaining synchronization between AB and PSS, thereby aiding in PSS control. We examined various host switch patterns and cycles to evaluate their impact on AB's offspring's parasitism rates and fitness in laboratory conditions.
