Department of Urology, IRCCS A. Gemelli University Polyclinic Foundation, Rome, Italy.
Background: The American Urologic Association (AUA) and the European Association of Urology (EAU) guidelines endorse percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) for symptomatic stones larger than 20 mm despite significant risks such as bleeding and urosepsis. Robotic pyelolithotomy (RPL) is emerging as an appealing alternative to PCNL, particularly for patients with anatomical variations like pelvic or horseshoe kidneys, malrotation, previous unsuccessful PCNL, and congenital renal anomalies such as ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO).
Methods: A retrospective observational study was conducted involving patients from Miulli Hospital and A.

Background: Cachexia is a frequent companion of chronic diseases and a well-established predictor of poor patient performance and outcome. Since cachexia as a discharge diagnosis is not much investigated, we aimed to investigate prevalence of cachexia in hospitalised patients and their outcome.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of the National Hospital Health Care Statistics Database using the 10th revision of the International Classification of Diseases codes.

Background: Lung transplantation (LuTX) can be the last resort for patients with end-stage lung diseases. In the last decades, improvements were implemented in transplant medicine, from immunosuppression throughout preservation of the donor organ to enhance lung allograft survival. This retrospective study aims to illustrate the development of the LuTX-program at the University Hospital of Munich, LMU, Munich, Germany, since its launch in 1990 by depicting and comparing postoperative outcome.

Background: Branch pulmonary artery (PA) stenosis must be addressed early to prevent right ventricular scarring and establish lung blood flow. Balloon-mounted stents are more useful in managing right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) obstruction and PA stenosis.
Materials And Methods: We studied the clinical and angiographic data of children with congenital heart disease who underwent stenting for RVOT obstruction and branch PA stenosis using the Formula stent (Cook Medical, Limerick, Ireland) between 2018 and 2024 in a tertiary pediatric cardiac center in southern India.
