Background: While just-in-time (JIT) training is associated with time and cost savings, limited evidence directly compares layperson CPR performance using JIT videos to in-person CPR courses. We measured layperson CPR performance using a JIT video compared to an in-person course or no training.

Methods: Adult employees at a professional sports stadium were randomized to perform CPR in a simulated scenario a) after completing an AHA HeartSaver® course, b) using a JIT training video, or c) neither (control).

Background: Levetiracetam (Lev), an antiepileptic drug (AED), enhances alkylating chemotherapy sensitivity in glioblastoma (GB) by inhibiting MGMT expression. This meta-analysis evaluates Lev's impact on GB treatment by analyzing overall survival of individual patient data (IPD) from published studies.

Methods: IPD was reconstructed using the R package IPDfromKM.

Article Synopsis
  • The WHO and International Consensus Classification 2022 aim to improve diagnosis and treatment decisions for myelodysplastic syndromes, but disparities in their implementation exist.
  • A panel of experts used a data-driven method and the Delphi consensus process to align the two classifications, focusing on genomic features to create harmonized labels for distinct clusters.
  • Key findings identified nine genomic clusters, with the most significant linked to biallelic TP53 inactivation, and highlighted the inadequacy of traditional morphological assessments in capturing the complexity of these diseases.
