Background And Objective: Tension tests or neurodynamic techniques assess the mobility of the peripheral nerves and provide a guide for planning and managing physiotherapy treatments of entrapment syndromes such as carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). One of the upper limb tension tests (ULTT) is ULTT1 that evaluates the efficacy of physiotherapy treatment. It has been shown to be a valid test but its reliability has not been investigated for CTS. Therefore, it is not known if the ULTT1 helps in diagnosing CTS and assessing CTS treatments. The purpose of this study was to determine the reliability of the ULTT1 in CTS.

Material And Methods: In order to determine the reliability of the ULTT1, we tested 23 healthy subjects and 12 subjects with CTS on two separate test days. Outcome measure for this study was elbow extension.

Results: Inter subject elbow extensions were not significantly different between the two test days. Also, the coefficient of correlation ± SEM in healthy and CTS subjects were 0.89 ± 1.23 degrees and 0.84 ± 3.67 degrees, respectively.

Conclusion: From the above results, we conclude that the ULTT1 is highly reliable and can be used in diagnosis as well as the management of CTS.

Background And Purpose: Throwing a baseball involves intense exposure of the arm to high speeds and powerful forces, which contributes to an increasing prevalence of arm injuries among athletes. Traditional rigid exoskeletons and rehabilitation equipment frequently lack portability, safety, ergonomic design, and affordability. Traditional rehabilitation approaches frequently require therapist monitoring, resulting in therapy delays.

Background And Purpose: To develop a new test to assess the motor coordination of the upper limbs, and to investigate the test-retest and inter-rater reliability, construct validity, standard error of measurement (SEM), minimum detectable change (MDC), and the reference values.

Methods: The Upper Extremity Motor Coordination Test (UEMOCOT)was applied for 20 s, with the individual touching two targets (one right and one left) as quickly as possible, first with the hand (manual task) and then with the index finger (finger task). To test-retest reliability, the UEMOCOT was administered two times.

Posterior sternoclavicular joint (SCJ) dislocation is a rare but potentially life-threatening injury due to its proximity to critical mediastinal structures. Early diagnosis and prompt management are essential to prevent severe complications such as vascular or respiratory compromise. We report a case of a 23-year-old male who presented to our emergency department five days after a high-energy motor vehicle accident with isolated, closed posterior dislocation of the SCJ.

The abandonment rates of upper-limb (UL) prostheses are concerning and are related to limitations in the functional and kinematic aspects of the UL prosthesis. Evaluating the usability of prostheses is essential to make improvements in relation to these aspects and develop effective equipment and inform clinical results relevant to rehabilitation. The purpose of this scoping review is to explore the current state of the literature, the characteristics of studies on the topic, and the main parameters and instruments used to evaluate UL prosthesis, regarding kinematic and functional aspects.

Aim: This study aims to investigate the effects of combining a multifunctional pulse wave sphygmomanometer with constant temperature ice on patients with forearm hematoma following coronary intervention.

Methods: Patients who developed forearm hematoma after undergoing coronary intervention from March 2021 to March 2023 at our hospital were selected as the study cohort. Using a random number table, they were divided into two groups the control group and the research group.
