Introduction: Digital trials are a promising strategy to increase the evidence base for common interventions and may convey considerable efficiency benefits in trial conduct. Although paediatric intensive care units (PICUs) are rich in routine electronic data, highly pragmatic digital trials in this field remain scarce. There are unmet evidence needs for optimal mechanical ventilation modes in paediatric intensive care.

Background: Noninvasive mechanical ventilation (NIMV), when in synchronized intermittent mandatory ventilation, continuous positive airway pressure, or patient-triggered ventilation modes, is known to be a cause of facial, nasal, head, and skin pressure injuries in preterm infants.
Objective: The objective of this study is to examine the efficacy of using a checklist with preterm infants under nasal NIMV in preventing facial, nasal, and head pressure injuries.
Method: The study was conducted quasi-experimentally on preterm infants under NIMV.

Objective: The purpose of this case report is to describe self-administered lumbar traction as a component of the treatment of a patient with low back pain (LBP).
Clinical Features: A 41-year-old male chiropractic student presented with an exacerbation of intermittent LBP of approximately 2 years duration. Pain intensity was 4 to 8/10 on a verbal pain scale the day after exertion and 10 on the Patient Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) 3a.

: Is Intermittent Exotropia being conceived and treated as an ocular-mechanical problem? Is etiology taken into account when planning for intervention? Which success criteria are used? Are they based on alignment or do they also consider visual function? In order to answer these questions, a review of studies assessing the outcomes of strabismus surgery in Intermittent Exotropia has been conducted. : published between January 2003 and December 2023 were included. The database searched was MEDLINE following a predefined protocol.

Flexible fibers, such as biomass particles and glass fibers, are critical raw materials in the energy and composites industries. Assemblies of the fibers show strong interlocking, non-Newtonian and compressible flows, intermittent avalanches, and high energy dissipation rates due to their elongation and flexibility. Conventional mechanical theories developed for regular granular materials, such as dry sands and pharmaceutical powders, are often unsuitable for modeling flexible fibers, which exhibit more complex mechanical behaviors.
