Unlabelled: The provision of fixed prosthodontic restorations that meets the patient's functional and aesthetic demands can be challenging, especially in the anterior maxilla. It requires close communication with the technician and knowledge of the available options. This article will outline the options for pontic design and focus on the ovate pontic, which has the potential to provide the most aesthetic outcome. This should equip the practitioner with the knowledge as to which pontic to prescribe if such a challenge arises.
Clinical Relevance: Fixed bridgework is a commonly prescribed prosthesis for the replacement of missing teeth. In order for this to be provided successfully, the practitioner should have a working knowledge of the available options for pontic design.This is especially important in cases where aesthetic demands are high.

Objective: Data on the stability of soft tissues at pontic sites of resin-bonded fixed dental protheses (RBFDP) are lacking. The purpose of this study was to evaluate soft tissue changes at pontic sites of cantilever zirconia ceramic RBFDPs with and without surgical pretreatment after different follow-up periods in the esthetic zone.
Materials And Methods: Impressions were taken after the insertion of the restorations and an intraoral scan was performed at follow-up examinations.

Key Clinical Message: This case report presents the interest of multidisciplinary management of extreme peri-implantitis requiring removal of implant emphasizing the different surgical and showing that the ovate pontic of conventional bridge is an optimal alternative for rehabilitation of the premolar sector, despite the fact that its main diffusion has been in the anterior sector due to the high demand aesthetic.
Abstract: Peri-implantitis leads to gradual peri-implant bone loss. Severe and extreme cases lead to complete implant failure and imply lost implants have to be removed.

This article presents a digital approach to fabricating a computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD-CAM) ovate pontic creating device for an implant-supported fixed partial denture. Intraoral digital scanning was done after osseointegration, and the pontic was designed as 2 separate parts, with the fixed part connecting the coronal part of the restoration and an ovate former shaping the pontic area. A mechanical spring was placed between the 2 parts to exert consistent pressure on the ovate former.

Statement Of Problem: Complete arch subperiosteal implant-supported prostheses present challenges in terms of effective cleaning, leading to the accumulation of biofilm on their intaglio surfaces. The association between different intaglio surface morphologies and biofilm accumulation on complete arch subperiosteal implant-supported prostheses is unclear.
Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study was to investigate the correlation between the intaglio surface of complete arch subperiosteal implant-supported prostheses and biofilm accumulation.
Aim: The present case report with medium-term follow-up aims to report on the successful outcomes of ridge preservation using anorganic bovine bone mineral (ABBM) combined with the socket-shield technique (SST) in conjunction with immediate ovate pontic provisionalization of the extraction site, followed by delayed flapless implant placement and immediate implant provisionalization in the rehabilitation of the maxillary anterior esthetic region. Clinical protocol: Three consecutive patients with failing maxillary anterior teeth were treated with this protocol. The alveolar ridge dimension was preserved utilizing ABBM, combined with the retention of a partial tooth root segment in the buccal portion of the extraction socket, to minimize ridge resorption following tooth extraction.
