Analysis of published data gathered on a sample of Na(2)IrO(3), held deep inside the antiferromagnetic phase at 1.58 K, shows that iridium magnetic dipole moments, measured in resonant x-ray Bragg diffraction, lie in the a-c plane of the monoclinic crystal and enclose an angle ≈118° with the c-axis. These findings, together with bulk measurements, are united in a plausible magnetic ground state for an iridium ion constructed from a Kramers doublet. A magnetic space group, derived from the chemical space group C2/m (unique axis b), possesses an anti-translation, to accommodate antiferromagnetic order, and an odd, two-fold axis of rotation symmetry on the b-axis, C'(2b), placing Ir magnetic dipoles perpendicular to the b-axis. Anapoles (toroidal dipoles) are predicted to be likewise confined to the a-c plane, and magnetic charges forbidden.

The title compound, [Zn(CHClNO)Cl], is a dinuclear zinc(II) complex with three chlorido ligands and one penta-dentate ligand containing quinolin-8-olato and bis-(pyridin-2-ylmeth-yl)amine groups. One of the two Zn atom adopts a tetra-hedral geometry and coordinates two chlorido ligands with chelate coord-ination of the N and O atoms of the quinolin-8-olato group in the ligand. The other Zn atom adopts a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry, and coordinates one chlorido-O atom of the quinolin-8-olato group and three N atoms of the bis-(pyridin-2-ylmeth-yl)amine unit.

This study aims to determine the effect of different high-pressure processing (HPP) conditions (100 MPa/300 MPa/500 MPa; 2 min/4 min/6 min) on copigmentation, specifically between chlorogenic acid (CA), epicatechin (Epi), gallic acid (GA), malvidin-3-O-galactoside (Mv-3-O-gal), and malvidin-3-O-arabinoside (Mv-3-O-ara), as well as the storage stability of the copigmentation solutions. The results showed that the influence of different HPP treatment conditions on copigmentation was not significant. HPP treatment did not significantly affect the λ, peak absorption, color parameters, and Mv-3-O-gal anthocyanin content when applied alone or in combination with CA and Epi.
