Research about patterns of aboveground carbon stock (AGC) across different tropical forest types is central to climate change mitigation efforts. However, the aboveground carbon stock (AGC) quantification for Brazilian cloud forest ecosystems along the altitudinal gradient is still scarce. We aimed to evaluate the effects of abiotic and biotic on AGC and the AGC distribution between species and families of tree communities along an altitudinal Brazilian Atlantic cloud forest gradient of the Mantiqueira Mountain Range, Southeastern Brazil.

Systematic social observation (SSO) is an objective method of measuring the neighborhood physical and social characteristics. This study aimed to build intraurban indicators using the SSO method and compare them between two slums and their surroundings in a Brazilian capital. The simple indicators were calculated using the ratio estimator method, and grouped into domains.

Objective: To analyze vaccine hesitancy associated factors and repercussions on vaccination coverage.
Methods: Cohort of children born in 2017-2018, living in Brazilian state capitals, Federal District (FD), and 12 inner region cities, stratified by socioeconomic level. National Vaccination Coverage Survey (2020) data on hesitancy, access and programmatic difficulties were obtained by interview and coverage was calculated from vaccination card dose and date records.

Background: Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) is one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide. Knowing the predisposing factors is essential for preventing it.
Objectives: To describe the etiological and epidemiological characteristics of the population with ACS admitted to an emergency room in the State of São Paulo.
The study aimed to verify the physiological and metabolic parameters associated with the time to task failure (TTF) during cycling exercise performed within the severe-intensity domain. Forty-five healthy and physically active males participated in two independent experiments. In experiment 1, after a graded exercise test, participants underwent constant work rate cycling efforts (CWR) at 115% of peak power output to assess neuromuscular function (Potentiated twitch) pre- and post-exercise.
