The complexity of polyphonic sounds imposes numerous challenges on their classification. Especially in real life, polyphonic sound events have discontinuity and unstable time-frequency variations. Traditional single acoustic features cannot characterize the key feature information of the polyphonic sound event, and this deficiency results in poor model classification performance.

Fifth-generation (5G) communication technology is intended to offer higher data rates, outstanding user exposure, lower power consumption, and extremely short latency. Such cellular networks will implement a diverse multi-layer model comprising device-to-device networks, macro-cells, and different categories of small cells to assist customers with desired quality-of-service (QoS). This multi-layer model affects several studies that confront utilizing interference management and resource allocation in 5G networks.

Background: Public relations-a marketing communications method involving the use of publicity and other unpaid promotional methods to deliver messages-historically has served as the communicative workhorse of the health services industry, representing the predominant pathway over many decades by which health and medical facilities conveyed stories to the public. While other components of the marketing communications mix, perhaps most notably that of advertising, have now captured a significant portion of interest, attention, and use by healthcare establishments, public relations remains a valuable communicative avenue when deployed properly.
Discussion: As an unpaid method of promotion, public relations is uniquely positioned among its counterparts in the marketing communications mix which require direct expenditures to reach audiences.

Critical care clinicians involved serious adverse events may experience a constellation of distressing emotions that may interfere with home and work life. Offering support after a serious adverse event may restore a clinician's ability to cope with the event, reestablish emotional balance and assist a clinician to function capably in the workplace and at home. A description of a care for the caregiver program implementation at a 10-hospital health system provides a roadmap to implement this program in other hospitals and health systems.
