Although this vaccination is recommended and provided at no cost to all adolescent girls aged 9 to19 years in Uganda, its uptake remains low. Background: Extended-release naltrexone (XR-NTX) is an important treatment option for individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD) and/or alcohol use disorder (AUD). However, problems with retention are a major barrier to its overall effectiveness, and interventions to improve adherence are underdeveloped. The purpose of this study was to pilot test the MAT-PLUS intervention, which combines assertive outreach and involvement of a treatment significant other (TSO) to improve adherence to XR-NTX.

This study aims at identifying the under-triage patients to improve the quality of care among those transferred into a level I trauma system. This is a single-center study of Trauma Registry data, inclusive years, from July 1, 2016 to January 31, 2021. Patients were grouped based upon under-triage, over-triage, and OK triage.
