Background: The Kasai procedure (KPE) is an important treatment for biliary atresia (BA), the most common cause of neonatal obstructive jaundice.
Aim: To investigate the efficacy of robotic-assisted Kasai portoenterostomy (RAKPE) in patients with BA.
Methods: Clinical data of 10 patients with BA who underwent RAKPE at the Seventh Medical Center of the People's Liberation Army General Hospital between December 2018 and December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed.
Introduction: When a pilot is referred for nasal polyposis, his/her flight fitness may be questionable. The objective of this retrospective study was to describe a case series of barotrauma in a pilot population exhibiting nasal polyposis and to discuss the decisions about their flight fitness.
Methods: There were 17 pilots with nasal polyposis who were referred to the Head and Neck Department of the National Pilot Expertise Center.

The left atrial appendage (LAA), a major source of thrombus formation, is also a common site for ectopic foci that initiate and maintain atrial fibrillation( AF). Depending on the patient's condition, various methods are available to exclude LAA, and each of these means is associated with advantages and disadvantages. We performed thoracoscopic stand-alone LAA amputation in 47 patients with AF, who were at risk of stroke with or without contraindications to anticoagulation therapy (between March 2017 and November 2022).

Introduction: The simultaneous bilateral release of carpal tunnels still remains a non-unanimous practice. We prospectively studied the contribution of ultrasound-guided surgery coupled with Walant anaesthesia in the simultaneous release of both carpal tunnels.
Materials And Methods: Patients who presented bilateral clinical involvement confirmed by electromyogram were operated on in the operating room under Walant anaesthesia by minimally invasive knife section under ultrasound guidance.
