TEDIS, an information system dedicated to patients with Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) was tested. Results focused on the process of behavioural changes among physicians and health professionals with regard to structured organized patient information.The experiment encouraged changes in professionals' habits for further documenting and systematizing patient information collection. TEDIS' project federated professionals for developing methods for a systematic and exhaustive patient data management, in a longitudinal and cross-domain perspective, for improving knowledge and health care management.

Stereotypes are not only pervasive, they can also lead to discrimination against negatively-stereotyped groups. A gender-intelligence stereotype holds that men and boys are smarter than women and girls, despite no such evidence. Developmental research suggests that even children endorse this stereotype, and negative perceptions about self-worth in girls may be a consequence.

Background: This study examined the profiles of adaptive behavior development in adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and severe intellectual disability (ID), and the relationships between the levels of the different domains and subdomains of adaptive development and the intensity of autistic symptomatology.
Participants: This study involved 71 adults (44 men and 27 women with average ages of 39 years 7 months and 36 years 2 months, respectively) living in medico-social institutions and having a level of adaptive development corresponding to age below 3 years 4 months and a level of cognitive development corresponding to ages between 12 and 24 months.
Methods: ASD was diagnosed using Pervasive Development Disorder-Mental Retardation Scale (PDD-MRS) and Childhood Autistic Rating Scale (CARS), ID and its severity were determined based on the Diagnostic Statistical Manual-5 (DSM-5) criteria, and the very low cognitive developmental level was assessed using the Socio-emotional Cognitive Evaluation Battery (Adrien, Pearson-ECPA, 2007), adapted for adults (SCEB-A).

Addressing adolescent mental health care across sub-Saharan Africa faces numerous challenges, including underfunded public health systems, a shortage of mental health professionals, barriers to access, and pervasive stigma. Untreated adolescents often experience worsening symptoms, academic and social difficulties, physical health risks, and engage in risky behaviours. Early detection and appropriate treatment of common mental health conditions can support adolescents in developing robust social and emotional foundations and enhancing their mental well-being.
