In our work, the effect of crystallization methods and their parameters on the particle size, particle size-distribution and roundness were investigated in case of glycine crystallization. Three types of crystallization methods were applied according to the solubility results of the substance. In case of cooling crystallization, the effect of cooling and stirring rates were investigated. The feeding and stirring rates were changed in the feeding crystallization. In the antisolvent technique, the effect of cycle and amplitude of the sonification were studied on the particle size. A 3(2) full factorial design was applied for investigation of the effect of crystallization parameters. The results were analyzed by statistical software. The particle size distribution and roundness were measured by laser diffraction and light microscopic image analysis systems. The polymorph type of products was investigated by XRPD. The crystallized product morphology was examined using scanning electron microscopy. We found that the crystallization methods and certain parameters have significant effect on the particle size, particle size distribution. In spite of the modified particle size, morphology, roundness, the polymorph type of the product was the same with the original material.

CaCoO/rGO was prepared by combining a sol-gel strategy and mechanical ball milling method. The Rietveld refinement results demonstrated a single-phase structure with a monoclinic symmetry. When utilized as an anode for lithium-ion batteries, it exhibited excellent rate performance and electrochemical stability due to the significantly decreasing particle size as well as the formation of a conductive rGO network in the composite after ball milling.

Machine learning-driven optimization of mRNA-lipid nanoparticle vaccine quality with XGBoost/Bayesian method and ensemble model approaches.

To enhance the efficiency of vaccine manufacturing, this study focuses on optimizing the microfluidic conditions and lipid mix ratios of messenger RNA-lipid nanoparticles (mRNA-LNP). Different mRNA-LNP formulations ( = 24) were developed using an I-optimal design, where machine learning tools (XGBoost/Bayesian optimization and self-validated ensemble (SVEM)) were used to optimize the process and predict lipid mix ratio. The investigation included material attributes, their respective ratios, and process attributes.

Background: Acacetin (AC) is a flavonoid compound with antiperoxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiplasmodial activity. However, the solubility of AC is poor and nano acacetin (Nano AC) was synthesized. The intestinal mucosal barrier is impaired in sepsis rats, and the protective effects and mechanism of AC and Nano AC on the intestinal mucosal barrier are unclear.

Hematite (α-FeO) nanoparticles have been synthesized from waste source of iron which contains a prominent amount of iron (93.2 %) and investigated the effect of low temperature calcination. The two-step synthesis method involved preparing ferrous sulfate through acid leaching process followed by oxidation and calcination at temperatures ranging from 200 to 400 °C to produce the desired α-FeO in nano form.

This paper presents the preparation of the parental experimental alloy, featuring a standard composition of TiYZrFeNiMn, via the vacuum induction melting technique. Subsequently, the TiYZrFeNiMn alloy, with an addition of 2 wt% Ni, underwent mechanical ball milling to yield a TiFe-based composite for experimental purposes. The results of the experimental tests indicate that the composite alloy's phase composition comprises the TiFe primary phase, with a minor quantity of ZrMn phase segregated on the surface of the primary TiFe phase, as well as Ni phase.
