A congenital neurologic disorder affected a herd of Tabapuã cattle. Of 98 newborn calves, 12 (12%) were affected; they were sired by 3 related bulls. This frequency suggested a genetic disorder caused by an autosomal recessive gene.

Introduction: Here we report a child of Gullian Barre syndrome (GBS) with opisthotonic posturing and we subsequently detected Scrub typhus in him.
Case Report: An 11-year-old boy presented with progressive motor quadriparesis with transient bladder retention, bilateral facial weakness, diminished gag reflex, absent reflexes and his nerve conduction studies suggested Acute Motor Axonal Neuropathy (AMAN) GBS. His power gradually started recovering after one week.

Background: Abnormal motor posturing (AMP), exhibiting as decorticate, decerebrate, or opisthotonos, is regularly noticed among children and adults.
Objective: This systematic review and meta-analysis examined the risk factors and outcome of posturing among severe head and brain injury subjects.
Methods: Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria and using MeSH terms: "decerebrate posturing", "opisthotonic posturing", "brain injury", and/or "cerebral injury" articles were searched on Scopus, PubMed, Science Direct, and google scholar databases.

Background: A clinical presentation similar to severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) with defective T cell activation but normal lymphocyte development occurs due to certain molecule defects including ORAI1- and STIM1.
Case: A four-month-old girl sufferd from fever, restlessness, diarrhea, and poor weight gain following the neonatal period. There was consanguinity and a positive family history.

Unlabelled: Dystonia is a movement disorder characterized by involuntary sustained or intermittent muscle contraction causing repetitive twisting movements and abnormal postures. Status dystonicus (SD) is an enigmatic disease of cryptic etiology. We hereby report a child with West syndrome (WS) who went on to develop SD following intramuscular adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) injection.
