The results of therapy of 43 patients with lichen ruber pilaris are analyzed. Different treatment modalities were employed: PUVA therapy, Re-PUVA therapy, retinoids, PUVA therapy with methotrexate, etc. Re-PUVA therapy was found the most effective method of treatment. Retinoid therapy ranks second in efficacy, PUVA therapy third, etc.

Background: The transcription factor AP1 plays a crucial role in the proliferation, apoptosis, and terminal differentiation of epidermal keratinocytes.
Objective: This study aimed to clarify whether the subunit of AP1, FOSL1 protein, can be used to assess the exacerbation of psoriasis by evaluating its changes in protein and mRNA levels in cultured epidermal keratinocytes and skin specimens of the patients prescribed with bathwater PUVA (Psoralen and UVA) therapy. This study aimed to investigate FOSL1, a subunit of the transcription factor AP-1, as a potential biomarker for psoriasis by examining its protein and mRNA expression in skin specimens from patients undergoing bathwater PUVA (Psoralen and UVA) therapy and cultured epidermal keratinocytes.

Mycosis fungoides (MF) represent the most frequent form of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL). Chlormethine gel has been approved as first-line therapy in MF. The classification of early forms of MF is clinically and histologically complex even for experienced clinicians.

The unique histiocytic entity of indeterminate dendritic cell tumor (IDCT) is known to cause diagnostic conundrum and treatment dilemmas with no published consensus on either. We report a rare case of cutaneous IDCT with ETV3::NOAC2 rearrangement providing further evidence to its association with this condition. With its ease of administration and minimal side effects, PUVA therapy can be successfully used to treat cutaneous forms of IDCT.

Background: Extracorporeal photopheresis (ECP) has been demonstrated as an effective treatment for graft-versus-host disease (GvHD). The inline system was developed by Therakos in 1987. Recently, Fresenius Kabi implemented an integration of cell separator Amicus and a UVA photoactivation device (Phelix), realizing an inline photopheresis system.

Introduction: CAR T-cell therapy is highly effective, but also associated with unique toxicities. Because of the origin of T cells in patients who previously underwent allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (alloHCT), graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) in the post-CAR T-cell setting poses a relevant concern but is only scarcely studied. Potential risk factors and mitigation strategies (from CAR T-cell modifications to clinical management) are yet to be determined.
