Creatinine, a byproduct of muscle metabolism, is typically filtered by the kidneys. Deviations from normal concentrations of creatinine in human saliva serve as a crucial biomarker for renal diseases. Monitoring these levels becomes particularly essential for individuals undergoing dialysis and those with kidney conditions.

Using a stainless shadow mask combined with a magnetron-ion-assisted deposition (IAD) sputtering system, we investigate the surface morphologies and optical properties of microfilms. Optimal color-filter (CF) coating microfilms with niobium pent-oxide (NbO)/silicon dioxide (SiO) multilayers on a hard polycarbonate (HPC) substrate, grown at 85 °C and 50 SCCM oxygen flow, can obtain a fairly uniform thickness (with an average roughness of 0.083 and 0.

Integrated microwave photonics (MWP) is an intriguing technology for the generation, transmission and manipulation of microwave signals in chip-scale optical systems. In particular, ultrafast processing of analogue signals in the optical domain with high fidelity and low latency could enable a variety of applications such as MWP filters, microwave signal processing and image recognition. An ideal integrated MWP processing platform should have both an efficient and high-speed electro-optic modulation block to faithfully perform microwave-optic conversion at low power and also a low-loss functional photonic network to implement various signal-processing tasks.

Tantalite ore is the main source of the metals niobium (Nb) and tantalum (Ta). Today, the needs for these economic and irreplaceable Nb, and Ta metals are becoming imperative for the technological world, to meet the demand, a lot of research is needed to ore reserves, extraction methodology and simplified refining processes should be in plethora. This study focuses on the Ethiopian tantalite ore located south of the Neoproterozoic Adola belt of the rare element Kenticha pegmatite deposit (global source of tantalite).
