The paper presents the results of a study of the morphofunctional state of the pancreas in children with metabolic syndrome. It is shown that in the absolute majority of children identified various changes in the structure of the pancreas. Decrease Postprandial response and uneven increase in gland due to a head in the postprandial period, indicating a decrease in body adaptation abilities and a high risk of pancreatitis in children with MS. The interrelation between total size and size of the head of the pancreas on an empty stomach with disorders of carbohydrate metabolism. Obtained data indicate the need for in-depth examination of children with metabolic syndrome in order to timely diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis.
