The morphologic characteristics of microscopic fungi of genus Coccidioides under cultivation in nutrient mediums are studied. It is demonstrated that filamentous form of agents of coccidioidomycosis is characterized by significant polymorphism of macro- and micromorphologic signs on different stages of development ofagar culture. But C. immitis and C. posadasii have no species' differences. The dynamics of development of coccidioidomycosis strains in microcultures is analyzed as well as the intensity of sporification. The forms and sizes of arthroconidiae are also established.

Background And Aims: It is assumed that trees should adapt their above and belowground organs as they age. However, most studies to date have quantified these trait adjustments in homogeneous forest stands, confounding the effect of stand aging on soil properties and the intrinsic response of trees to aging.
Methods: Here, we examined 11 morphological, architectural, anatomical and mycorrhizal fine root traits of each of the first five orders for 66 Pinus koraiensis individuals of 16 to 285 years old in northeast China, while accounting for soil characteristics (pH and total C, N and P concentrations).
Background and Objective: Cadmium (Cd) is one of the heavy metal pollutants and its accumulation impacts the sustainability of marine organisms. Current research aimed to isolate and identify the cadmium-reducing bacteria from contaminated coastal sediment in Karangsong Port, Indramayu, Indonesia. The isolates were investigated for their potential to reduce cadmium and showed the cadmium reduction drastically up to 50% at 6 hrs treated under different cadmium concentrations of 0, 5, 1 and 1.

A few publications related to the characteristics of salinity stress resistance in rice cultivars, including local rice from North Sulawesi. This study aimed to examine the morphological response to salinity stress at the germination phase in eight rice cultivars cultivated in North Sulawesi, Indonesia.

A substantial collection of mycobacteriophages has been isolated and characterized, offering valuable insights into their diversity and evolution. This collection also holds significant potential for therapeutic applications, particularly as an alternative to antibiotics in combating drug-resistant bacterial strains.
